Making an Application for Admission:
Before completing the form (Application for Admission-downloadable from the website) students are advised to read carefully the terms & conditions. Application for admission to LCBCS is made directly to the Admission office.
The following documents are required to gain admission on a course at LCBCS:
- Completed application forms clearly indicating student’s address (Telephone, fax, e-mail) for correspondence.
- Photocopies of relevant educational certificates, diploma or letter of eligibility.
- Personal statement indicating educational qualifications, experiences, community & voluntary work experiences and future plan.
- Application fee (£100 non-refundable).
If tuition fees are to be paid by sponsor or employer acceptable to LCBCS or by government body, a copy of the letter from the sponsor’s undertaking should be enclosed with application for admission.
- Certificate of proficiency in English (students are required to have a score of 5.5 in IELTS or equivalent).
What next?
Once the admission office receives the completed application,
one of the following courses of action will take place:
- Make a conditional offer to students or
- Arrange an interview with the prospective students or
- Make an unconditional offer, or
- Advise a different ‘route’/course.
Confirmation of Admission:
Once students are accepted for admission to a specific course,
they will receive the following:
- Admission Letter
- Fee Receipt Letter
- Accommodations & Transportation Letter
- Letter to the British High Commission/Consulate
With the above documents, overseas students should approach
for their visa. Visa related information is available from www.ukvisas.gov.uk.
LCBCS students should feel confident about their visa. However,
if the visa is refused, students are asked to contact LCBCS
for next courses of action.
